FUN FACTThis week-long celebration has been observed in the UK since 2007 and aims to inspire people of all ages to get creative in the kitchen and try their hand at baking delicious treats. Baking has been a beloved pastime for centuries, with recipes being passed down from generation to generation. From cakes and cookies to pies and breads, there are endless possibilities when it comes to baking.

224 years ago today, the invention of accurate baking scales allowed bakers to create more consistent and reliably delicious products.73 years ago today, Pillsbury introduced the first cake mix, revolutionizing home baking by making it more accessible and convenient.
61 years ago today, the Easy-Bake Oven was launched by Kenner, allowing children to participate in baking with a toy that could bake actual food.
46 years ago today, the advent of double-acting baking powder made baking even easier, as it allowed for more forgiving recipes and flexibility in the kitchen.
17 years ago today, National Baking Week was first celebrated in the UK, with the aim of encouraging people to bake at home.
14 years ago today, the premiere of the "Great British Bake Off" television show, which ignited a global interest in home baking and created a new generation of baking enthusiasts.

SIXTH, take a picture of all your home made baked products and upload those in your social media accounts by setting your PLINKO to 11 ROWS, HIGH RISK and hitting 14x 10 times. |
