What is poverty, what is the line of poverty, Sir?
Ask hunger, what is the fate of bread, Sir?

Don't ask the palace dwellers what the sorrow of the poor is
Ask some laborers what sweat is, Sir?

The one whose stove hasn't had smoke for days
Ask him what the interpretation of life is, Sir?

If there is a smile on the lips, don't assume this
What is the chain behind every smile, Sir?

Some have no clothes on their bodies, some have no roof over their heads
Tell me, is there any greater humiliation of the world than this, Sir?

Here even relationships are sold on the scales of wealth
Tell me, is there any greater insult to humanity than this, Sir?

The rich are not those whose treasures remain full
What is richer than the vastness of hearts, Sir?

O ignorant one, learn to consider a human as a human
What is greater devotion than serving humanity, Sir?

They told us the true poverty comes from the shallow minds they told us poor people are those they dont have a great believe in God and fat .. they told us poor people defeat the honor of their country while wealthy people have fun in the restaurants and hotels ... they told us poor people will be in paradise .. but why rich people dont wona be also with them?? It is not but a big cheat
