This picture is not just a sketch. It is the complete story of all of us.
On one side is a newborn taking its first breath. On the other side is the silent soil of the grave.
Between these two lies childhood, youth, education, career, marriage, children, happiness, sorrow, success, failure, and old age...
This short journey is what we call life.
Today we are so lost in our busyness, wealth, positions, fame, and the colors of this world, that we forget one day we have to leave this world forever.
Time does not stop for anyone.
The child who is in his mother’s arms today will grow up tomorrow, then grow old, and finally rest in the embrace of that same grave where all of us will reach one day.
So for God's sake, never hurt anyone’s heart in your life.
Don’t insult anyone. Don’t oppress anyone. Don’t take away anyone’s right.
Don’t mock someone’s helplessness. And don’t let anyone’s eyes fill with tears because of your behavior.
Because physical wounds heal, but wounds of the heart often never heal in a lifetime.
If God has given you strength, wealth, respect, or authority, use it to serve others, not for pride and arrogance.
Remember, the richest person in this world is not the one who has everything.
The richest is the one with good character, a soft tongue, and hands that never hurt anyone.
Live a life in such a way that when you leave this world, people pray for you.
They remember your goodness, and give examples of your character, love, service, and conduct.
It should not be that people breathe a sigh of relief after you’re gone.
Instead, their eyes should get moist at your departure, and every tongue should say:
_"May God forgive this person. He/She was a very good human being."_
Remember! In the grave, neither wealth will go with you, nor position, nor cars, nor palaces, nor fame, nor worldly power.
Only our deeds will go with us.
If we brought a smile to someone’s face, supported the helpless, placed a hand on an orphan’s head, helped the poor, forgave someone, mended a broken heart, and lived for the pleasure of God — then that will be our greatest wealth.
Let us do self-accounting of our hearts today.
If we have hurt someone, let’s ask for forgiveness.
If we have taken someone’s right, let’s return it.
If we have enmity with someone, let’s end it.
Turn hatred into love, arrogance into humility, and evil into good.
Because life is very short, but the fragrance of good character lives on even after a person leaves this world.
*May God Almighty grant us all the ability to become such people that after we leave, people remember us in good words, pray for our forgiveness, and grant us an end with faith, goodness, and the pleasure of God.
