Our Power, Our Planet!
How would you feel if i say, "The world was laying down like a human being, was tortured brutally with knives, electric shocks, harmful chemicals and wood that were made for hammer's handles and many more?" If you really have a heart beating inside your tiny or huge chest, you will say, "the worst feeling of this universe" because the world has been bearing all our devastations inside it, on it, and outside its atmosphere. Let me drive you towards the main topic now. The world has started celebrating Earth Day as an annual even from April 22, 1970 and this year, it is focusing on the themes of Climate Change, Population, habitat destruction and disadvantage of overly advancement.
Every year comes with a slogan "save the planet" on Earth Day, as it comes to the climate change, this doesn't remain a midnight talk, rather a harsh reality. Everyone can, indeed feel this. Summers turn to be more hotter while, in many regions, winter either feels no winter at all, or a little bit more cold than previous year. On the other hand, other randomly occuring weather is hitting more powerfully than it has ever. Heatwave, Floods, droughts and thunderstorms seem to be like a glitch faster than the Great Usain Bolt. Truly, some of the biggest criminals of planet on this is us, we the human beings. Every time, we burn fuels as if we have no another day to see, engaged with deforestation like we need no oxygen any more, polluting the air unstoppably and causing huge difference in the world negatively. This climate change speeds up glacier melting and the countries living side by glacier regions would suffer a lot.
Let us all act like real being, pollution remains an highlight too much impactful for every country, most probably, which becomes the worst part. And everyone is used to it. However, this is not normal. Smokes from factories, cars and other burning materials, similarly, plastic trashes lying around like they own the place or the people who throw them, add all into the pollutants. Apart from land, water is not safe in-between us — Rivers and Oceans have more plastic and other wastes than fishes. What is more critical is the fishes eat the plastic and we the fishes. The germ eventually flows back to us. This works like the newton's law of motion, "every action has a reaction". The dirty surroundings doesn't mean to be pollution, but how would people understand, letting them lay for long causes health issues, ecosystem dirtiness, and future generations with all possiblity of destroying the world gradually.
Human beings have come far from stone age to the world of advancement, no doubts at all. We find technology working beyond people's imagination some decades ago. Life feels like fast, easy and there exist more connectedness between long distance regions. But what did this cost us? Literally, nothing, but surely, the cute environment has been and is paying all its costs. The increase of industries is direct proportional to the increment of emissions and more use of products mean more plundering of resources, remember, the world's maintenance is all about its in-depth resources. Nobody, almost, critiques upon the world of advancement, but everyone inside might question, "why the people never understand that the balance is necessity?" Our foolishness will soon break the world into different parts.
The advancement is linked to the wars too. Every country is trying to remain powerful and more richer than others. This is causing conflicts in different regions. Ukraine-Russia, India-Pakistan, and America-Israel alliance against Iran is accelerating the destructive waves reach faster.
Habitat Destruction is a problem that people never discuss about, but actually, it is a huge one. Deforestation is causing huge plunder of green sights, lands having gone through a clearance and natural spaces occupied and turned into roads and buildings. It for surely looks like a development, but for animals, it is like losing their residences and their part of the planet. Let me take you to an imagination. Close your beautiful and innocent eyes, and wake up seeing no home that you owned once, you are totally out under the sky with no shelter, how do you feel? Bad right? That is how happening to the wildlife everyday. This is causing survival difficulties for many species. And some are struggling through genocidal periods.
Last but not the least, Earth never demands for perfection, nor for advancement above limits, it just simply demands a little responsibility in the peoples. Earth Day is working like an alarm-reminder, that choices people usually or daily make do matter a lot. If our decision making regarding treating the planet doesn't change anyway further, then we cannot imagine the future's hardship. Tiny steps by today can still create huge difference tomorrow. Let's think for the planet first!
