Let me tell you one of the craziest gambling stories Iāve ever read.
Archie Karas started gambling in Las Vegas in the early 90s with only $50 in his pocket. What happened next is now called āThe Runā , one of the biggest and best winning streaks in history.
He turned $50 into $40 million by playing poker, craps, baccarat, and every other games. He beat legends, lived like a king for years, and became a true champion in Vegas . For years it seemed like he couldnāt lose and had a potion of luck.
But then the nightmare began....
The downswing hit him brutally. He started losing millions session after session. Instead of stopping, he kept playing more and more, trying to chase his losses. In a very short time he lost almost all of the $40 millions . By the end of the 90s he was basically broke again.
Even after that Archie didnāt stop . He kept playing for years . He had some small comebacks but never reached those crazy huge amounts again .
