I have been trying to develop many skills for a long time now. I have spent years learning graphic design, and I have spent months learning web design and development. However, the AI changed everything. It is doing the job in a minute which I would have to spend days to complete. Most people are focusing on AI today and they are doing their job with AI. They do not need to hire freelancers anymore. It seems like more and more people are losing their jobs today.

Keeping all this in mind, what skill would you develop today knowing AI can take your place and you can get fired?

nono, I don't agree with you.. if you have full enough skills, AI can't be replaced your place. you are intelligent but AI can't be think as much as people in reality. so, don't lose your hopes. try to be the best.

AI as emerged as part of the life! I can understand how that feel when your freelancing jobs are taken away by AI. But remember, if the AI is getting spotlight, AI does need specialist to continue with! I would rather choose AI prompt engineering skill to develop AI models that would earn a great sum of money, but the thing is, I'm too lazy with technological advancement and understanding 😂 😂

Well, yes. AI cannot fully replace. However, the number of workers has drastically reduced.
Let's say you have a website, and you want to make a minor change to it. The web developers used to charge $50 or more for minor tasks. Now all you need to do is pay a $20 for the Claude subscription, and ask it to fix your problem. This is how the number of jobs is decreasing. Now you will have to be an advanced senior developer to get a job.

If you become lazy, you will lose the opportunity to monetize the AI. You may need to pay a couple of dollars in subscription fees, but you can still make a good amount of money if you can learn how to do things. I can now do many things with the help of AI. People are starting YouTube automation, as you said in another thread. Why not start doing it by yourself?
