The ICC World Test Championship is a league competition for Test cricket run by the International Cricket Council (ICC). It started on August 1, 2019, and is intended to be the premier championship for Test cricket. The championship is in line with the ICC's goal of having one pinnacle tournament for each of the three formats of international cricket.

According to the point system, India and Australia are the top two test-playing countries. The final is being held at The Oval Ground in London. India won the toss and chose to bat first. OZ got a great score in first innings and end up making 469. Smith and Head both made centuries. In response India were all out for 296 runs only.

Oz in second innings are now at 124/4 and leading by 297 runs and with 6 wicket remaining. Batting fourth is never easy, and India will need to bat sensibly if they are to tie the match.. 2 days still remaining so will be interesting to watch if OZ declare quickly and get India all out to lift the cup.

Yeah really interesting because of england pitch i will say Australia going to win but let's see
Australis wins the Test Championship Cup and becomes the Test Match King.. They easily defeated India, winning by 209 runs. India was in a difficult situation from the start, and despite winning the toss, they chose to field first. a solid IPL team practise, India was unable to convert a golden opportunity in a Test match and demonstrate their skills.

India failed to even match their first-innings total and was bowled out for 234 runs in the second innings. They will now have to reflect as a team on why they were unable to win this cup. Australia dominated from the start and never let India get back into the game, eventually winning the Test Championship. This is India's second defeat in a WTC final, having lost to New Zealand in the inaugural event in 2021.

Player Of The Match was awarded to Travis Head.
