The world observes acceptance day on 20th January every year to mark and accept people of all abilities. This day was first celebrated in 2010 after Annie Hopkins and her brother Stevie(both specially able) created their company 3E Love in 2009 which had the message of "Embrace, Educate Empower and Love life". Sadly Annie died on 20ty January 2009 after which her family and friends marked this day as an international acceptance day in her remembrance and to keep her vision alive.
Moreover, International acceptance day is a message to society to accept people who are disabled because they are equal humans and have equal contributions in society.
So this Acceptance day, let's unite and show our love to disabled people around us, be inclusive and make them feel that they matter.
