To be honest people around me do not know that I do online gambling. Most of them don't know crypto. When I tell them about it, they just shrug it off. They think its shady and then quickly change the topic. But for me, playing crypto and do online gambling with was not just a hobby or an investment--- it was my way to escape from the pressure that everyday life gives.
Life sometimes puts us in difficult spots. And when everything feels overwhelming, it builds up silently until it becomes too much to carry. Just recently, I found myself in that place—I wanted to escape from the weight of it all. So, I went back to something I hadn’t done in a while. I returned to gambling, and when I did, I wasn’t disappointed. That feeling I had long forgotten came rushing back. I was completely in the moment—focused, alive. The thrill was real again, and for the first time in a while, I felt something other than stress.
Don’t get me wrong—I play to enjoy myself. I’m not chasing impossible wins or trying to fix my problems through luck. I play for the thrill, for the moment of release it gives me. It’s my way of freeing myself, even if just for a little while. I know my limits, and I respect them, because the goal isn’t to make life harder—it’s to feel something better.
I know not everyone will understand that, and that’s okay. Not everything we do needs to be explained or justified to others.
But now I ask you—why do you gamble?
