Whenever one has a deep glaze over the people that make history , ends up with names of rulers, elite people or heroes. But the famous Pakistani Historian Dr Mubarak Ali explains in this book "Patar Ka zamana"(Stone Age) that history is not only made by rulers or elite class people but has great involvement of common people like a farmer who has the responsibility of cultivating and food supplying, labours that construct huge buildings, soldiers that take part in wars and every other persons who adds to prosperity of the society.
However, the names of rulers are always highlighted in history because they have power and money and history is written with their preferences. The bitter truth of society is that rulers alone can never make history, it is always the contributions of common man in making history whose efforts are devalued.
