Among the different bitcoin units of measure, Satoshi it is undoubtedly the most famous. A satoshi is the minimum unit of measurement that can be used in the Bitcoin system. It is the smallest fraction in which you can divide a bitcoin.

In the same way that a euro is divisible into 100 cents, a bitcoin is divisible into 100,000,000 "cents" called satoshis. Allowing to reflect balances of up to eight decimal places. Therefore, the minimum fraction of a bitcoin would be 0,00000001.

It works really well as Windice's minimum bet too. As of this post, and for a couple years as a player here, the minimum bet has been 0.00000010 btc which equals $0.004719. The fact that I found a way to game with a minimum bet of a half a cent is one of the biggest benefits here. Dream come true. 😊

The satoshi is the smallest unit of the cryptocurrency bitcoin. It is named after Satoshi Nakamoto, the founder(s) of the protocol used in blockchains and the bitcoin cryptocurrency. The satoshi to bitcoin ratio is 100 million satoshis to one bitcoin. A satoshi is the smallest unit of Bitcoin currency. 1 satoshi = 0.00000001 BTC. satoshi is the namesake of the technical author and creator of Bitcoin, satoshi Nakamoto. Example: If 1 BTC = 100,000 yen, 1 satoshi = 0.0001 JPY. In the Bitcoin protocol, the amount issued is in satoshi units. prepaidgiftbalance

A satoshi is the smallest denomination of bitcoin, equivalent to 100 millionth of a bitcoin. Bitcoins can be split into smaller units to facilitate smaller transactions.
