I will talk about this topic, because some time ago I really wanted to open my heart to you because of this. Today without a competitive mode, I want to tell you how this dynamic makes me feel and share it with you writer friends. When the “Best Article of the Month” dynamic began, few of us imagined the impact it would have within our community. What began as a simple initiative to recognize the effort and quality of the content, ended up becoming an engine of motivation, learning and improvement for many authors. I feel like one of the lucky ones, who surpassed my way of thinking, helped me improve my language and handwriting. I got to know the world through this dynamic, from something competitive (which of course I don't want to take away from being competitive for many), to a total enjoyment of how the world with its arts and stories had so many wonders in store for us to write about. The themes are not enough, always There is where to cut fabric. Fascinated, I will not fail to mention that my fellow writers are worth reading, I sit down to read many times those who for me are the best and those who are starting remind me of me, when I started writing. I remember that at the beginning the idea was quite simple. To the letter, my first intention was to highlight, once a month, that article that demonstrated research, originality and a good ability to transmit ideas and with the end result of a good prize. However, as time went by, even though I didn't win, I felt that enjoyment of writing again, that someone read my lines and felt identified. Every month deeper, more elaborate texts appeared and with a greater commitment on the part of those who participated, but I was, or rather, I feel among those who need to write, know, investigate a new topic for everyone; with or without prize, I was filled with all knowledge, both through my searches and that of my colleagues.
Something that always caught my attention was how this dynamic awakened in many the desire to investigate more and learn better before writing, which was my case. It was no longer just about publishing, but about preparing, reading, comparing information and striving to offer content that really added value. Little by little, a healthy atmosphere of competition began to be felt, where I sought to improve myself and raise the quality of what I shared. For most of my classmates it was also pleasant to get to know each other within this activity. Sometimes the games silence us about how we really are, our intellect comes to light, many moderators in this case also met excellent writers who lived in their rooms, who stood out at different times and who managed to establish their own style. Some were characterized by their research articles, others by their way of narrating experiences or analyzing cultural, technological or social issues. Each one contributed something different, and that diversity enriched the dynamic much more. But beyond the names or who won each month, what was truly important was the transformation it caused in the community. Many who did not write went to read their classmates, they filled themselves with knowledge without having to leave the platform and they enjoyed sharing their experiences. I loved that. It was like turning curiosity into a habit. It pushed us to read more, question more, and prepare better before sharing an idea. That small competitive touch did not constantly generate negative rivalry; On the contrary, it created a positive energy that motivated us to improve, to recognize that others wrote beautiful things with their own style.
Today, looking back, I can say that the “Best Article of the Month” was not only a way to reward good content. It was also a way to take out that pen with great ideas and mold it on your own articles, demonstrating that when there is motivation and recognition, knowledge and creativity always find a way to flourish and make you grow.
