I recently came across a video of tournaments from the 2000s, and it hit me with a wave of nostalgia. I felt like reminiscing about my youth and playing a few rounds on Dust2 or Inferno. However, I’m not sure if it's worth it in 2026. CS2 requires gigabytes of updates and powerful hardware. I just want to play for half an hour after work without intrusive anti-cheat systems and massive patches. Who’s still playing good old 1.6 these days? Is there even a live online community left?
