Let Us Shine
The wondering world,
How coldly and hotly it wounds?
The flashbacks of eternity,
The coming thoughts of tomorrow
And the confusing era of today's;
Each of them has different wounds!
Happy wounds and sad wounds,
Beautiful wounds and ugly wounds!
Let Us Shine;
The darker we think of—
The darker we get into!
Let Us Shine;
By bringing a slight light—
Under the shadow of one's sorrows!
Let Us Shine;
The kindness you preserved—
Time to give it away to somebody — in need!
And do you know?
Shining doesn't require your wealth,
Neither your time,
Nor your personality!
It needs a smile on the face—
That punches away ego and sadness—
And indeed enlightens spectators!
Let Us Shine and make the world Shine!
