Only few hours left and 2022 will be over and we will be saying hello to 2023. I hope you all enjoy your New Year's eve tonight and you all have a happy and very prosperous 2023 ahead of you. And happy holidays to us all.

Here is a fun fact here in Philippines. This year we not only celebrate New Year's eve but we also have a long weekend. Four-day weekend. From December 30th to January 2nd.

* Every 30th of December, we commemorate the life and works of our national hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal. Thus also celebrating his death anniversary, 1896 execution. We call this date Rizal day.
* Every 31st and 1st as we all know and like everyone else, we celebrate New Year's day.
And for the first time, our government officially announced January 2nd as an Official non-working day. So yeah, January 2nd is now part of our long weekend. 😁

Another fun fact.
Until now, our traditions still continuous. Beliefs are still present.
Every New Year's and/or day, people still make it a habit to let their little kids jump to the highest they could making their children believe that jumping on New Year's day would help them grow taller. The higher they jump the taller they becomeπŸ˜†πŸ€. We Filipinos still make it a habit to complete the 11 to 12 round fruits in the table for 12 months of goodluck. We also do not forget to have Spaghetti or Pancit for longer life πŸ˜†. Plus, more round food for more prosperity and candies and chocolates for sweeter and stronger bond of family. We also believe in the saying that the louder the noise you make while celebrating New Year's eve, the more goodluck it is for you. So we make sure to have toy trumpets, coins in big cans and bells in our houses and we use them when welcoming New Year. Some of us even use our kitchenwares for more noise hahahaha! Because we also believe, making loud noises while welcoming New Year can help not just drive badluck away but drive spirits too. πŸ˜πŸ‘. We also make it a fun habit to shower many coins, again, for more prosperity. Lastly, until now, some of us Filipinos believe that it is very bad to be drinking a lot of hard drinks while celebrating New Year. You will end up drunkard the whole year πŸ˜†. A lot of us also still believe in our ancestor's saying, that once you spend too much money in January 1st, you will end up getting empty handed most of the time the whole year. Etc etc. In short, the more bad habits you do on first day of the year, the more negative results you will get the whole year. Hahahahahaha! As they say, it manifests. Lol

How about you guys, what are your preparations and what are your beliefs every New Year? Do you also have the traditions and beliefs like ours?
Whatever preparations you guys have, wherever you plan to celebrate New Year tonight, I hope you all take very good care and enjoy. Be happy so your whole year will be very happy too. Stay positive so your whole year will be positive. Stay safe too. Do not welcome 2023 in a negative way. 😁❀️❀️

Happy New Year from mine to yours πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‡πŸŽ†πŸŽ„

Happy New Year 2023

We are bidding farewell to a year that gifted us our lives back. After two years of lockdown, we all resumed normalcy and the fun talking to each other face to face. It was fun to be around with friends and family. We could empathize with people who suffered a loss during the COVID period and it was deeply hurting us as well. As we progress into a new year, all we can wish for ourselves and our dear ones is good health, happiness and success.

I wish you a wonderful new year and hope it brings you many blessings. Get rid of the old to make place for the new, and I wish you happiness throughout the year! Best wishes for the New Year! In 2023, you should try some new things, create your goals and targets and work toward achieving them all. Each year is a gift that holds hope for new adventures. May your New Year be filled with exploration, discovery, and growth.

Happy New Year πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰
It was very interesting. This is a fact, maybe funny but it is a pure fact that our beliefs maked and make our world and every living being.
So let's try to cultivate good beliefs in ourselves and the world around us. May it be accompanied by more success in the new year. Amen.
Best wishes for you and your family😊❀️
