Hello Windice community!
We're celebrating "Mother's Day" here in Argentina!
Hi everyone, i'm Claudia from Argentina, a beautiful country with a culture that's quite unique. For example:
every year, on the third sunday of october, we celebrate a special day in honor of mothers.
It’s a day filled with love, lunch and dinner gatherings, and our children prepare delicious meals for usl, like a roast, goat, lamb and we never forget a sweet cake! it’s a deeply meaningful day, one that brings the whole family together. Truly an unforgettable day for all of us mothers.
It’s a day to gather grandmothers, daughters, aunts, sisters, and more.
“Mother” is such a beautiful word, just saying it brings tears to my eyes.
here in my country, and surely in many others, there are many single mothers like me, who dedicate so much time and love to our children. we hold our homes together.
We often say: a mother can do anything:
A mother carries us for 9 months in her womb.
A mother learns how to be a mother from the moment her child is born.
A mother gives us affection and love.
A mother tucks us in at night.
A mother is there in good times and bad, especially the bad.
A mother fights for her children to have the best life, even through difficulties and challenges… but she never gives
up.
A mother helps shape the person we become.
The truth is, defining “mother” isn’t easy, it’s a word so full of meaning.
Mothers are the heart of the family.
We should learn to cherish every moment with our mothers. time passes, we grow older, our children start families of their own… but let’s never forget: one day, mothers will need their children too. that’s why it’s so important to be there for them, to give them even just a few minutes of our time. For a mother, those minutes are priceless.
That’s why there’s only one mother.
But mothers exist in all professions, mothers who work outside the home, inside the home… without a doubt, a mother’s love is like no other.
That’s why today, I want to pay a small tribute to all the mothers in the windice community, shout out to all the mothers who are moderators, and to those balancing motherhood with so many other jobs and roles, and a special greeting to those of us who are mothers and users here on this wonderful site.
No matter which day you celebrate your mothers, we should really celebrate mothers every day, because we’re mothers 365 days a year.
