Taare Zameen Par is a Bollywood movie released on December 21, 2007, written by Amole Gupte, produced and directed by Amir Khan. This movie is a great support for the parents who time and again fail to understand their children and their careers. This movie is made upon 8 main characters. Amir Khan is acting as a teacher named in the movie as Ram Shankar Nikumbh, Darsheel Safery, the 9-year-old student in the movie, is named Ishaan Awasthi, Sachet Engineer, elder brother of Ishaan who helped and supported Ishan, is named Yohan Awasthi, Tisca Chopra the mother of Ishaan named as Maya Awasthi, Vipin Sharma, Ishaan's father named as Nandkishore Awasthi, M. K. Riana as the principal of boarding school and Tanay Chheda, Ishan'a friend named in the movie as Rajan whose one foot is damaged in the movie.

This 2 and half hours movie is full of joys, sorrows, emotions and motivations for the children. It also describes a lot of things for children to gain such as, what is to be done essentially and why? Likely, Amir Khan wisely gave a cover photo to this movie for the sake of clearing what this movie is all about. Even though, this is the only movie titled internationally as "Like Stars On Earth." There is a big reason behind this title; it says that every child is a star in this world, but no one clearly knows where the star shines.

On the other hand, there is favoritism between the children because of which majority of them get depressed. It is called a dilemma all across the globe for many children who had committed suicide just because of having less attention and care from their parents comparing with the other siblings. Even, this favoritism is sometimes found in teachers who only becomes attentive to few students they like. How come a parent do such acts which can ruin a life of their child who had long expected to get through every phase with the due support of his parents? As in this movie, Ishaan Awasthi was always ignored but Nohan Awasthi was supported for his each decision. If Nohan Awasthi was too good, then because of focusing on his education. But Ishaan was not supported to overcome his weaknesses and bringing up his real talent.

Additionally, this was the first movie that I watched and got much to transfer to every parent I could approach and suggest that children could never understand or read by beating, they just need our attention, love and motivation. Whenever, a child does a mistake unwillingly, everyone tries to scold them. No one assumes that children have small hearts and minds which cannot bear these harsh words and get psychological ill, and the medicine of this disease is love which in the movie; the love that Ishaan's father failed to provide and that was provide by Amir Khan as a teacher, friend and brother.

Furthermore, this movie highlights that nature is an attractive perception that attracts everyone towards it, and compels the people to always be busy with it. Beside this, Jajan only understood Ishaan's feelings and time and again encouraged him, since he had a wrong concept that every child, who does naughtiness, would be sent in the boarding school.

Moreover, every child getting born in the world has something unique in them which becomes the ultimate cause of their conversion into great personalities, like Thomas Edison, Bill Gates and other professionals who successfully achieved their goals. This movie portrays the same that every parent wants that their children should become engineers, doctors or to get into business, but no one ponders that their children can be famous in what the interests of the children lays, not in what we prefer but what they choose.

Ishaan Awasthi faced multiple troubles when his parents could not understand what could actually be done to Ishaan for his education, and directly sent him to the boarding school relying on the punishments which is commonly given in such schools by teachers where no parent could interfere. But, was that what he preferred? The practical answers of the asked questions were called inaccurate which he defined in his wording and observations, but the answers given in the theoretical books were considered to the point which most of the young children do not understand. At the middle, Amir Khan's entry gave Ishaan a new life and saved him from destruction. He understand what Ishaan needed and took extra times for his education and soon he became a great student with a great achievement; Amir Khan conducted a chart competition whose winner was Ishaan from the entire school even crossing the art of Amir Khan in the movie. Then the world realized Ishaan's potentials in arts and the reason his previous theoretical answered were deemed wrong because he always used to give the answers in the way he was interested, not what others preferred for him.

Thus, this movie should be watched time and again to revise what mistakes we are doing for not understanding our generation who really need help, and especially, parents need to have a glance on this movie. It would, for sure, bring numerous changes in our approach to the young generation when it comes to deciding what they are capable of
to be in future.
