Movie Blackjack 21 (2008) on based on true story

"21" is a 2008 American heist drama film directed by Robert Luketic and inspired by the true story of the MIT Blackjack Team. The movie stars Jim Sturgess, Kate Bosworth, and Kevin Spacey.

The story follows a group of MIT students, led by their math professor Micky Rosa (played by Kevin Spacey), who use their card-counting skills to win millions of dollars at casinos playing blackjack. The team employs a complex card-counting system and uses hand signals to communicate with each other during the game. They travel to different casinos in Las Vegas, and their success attracts the attention of casino security chief Cole Williams (played by Laurence Fishburne).

As the team's winnings grow, so does the pressure and tension within the group. Personal relationships are strained, and they face increasing risks of getting caught by casino security. The story culminates in a final showdown between the team and Williams.

The film received mixed reviews from critics but was a commercial success, grossing over $157 million worldwide. It was based on the non-fiction book "Bringing Down the House" by Ben Mezrich, which chronicled the real-life exploits of the MIT Blackjack Team.
