In my case, I still lament not purchasing Bitcoin when it was approximately $35,000, especially since I had funds set aside for crypto investment at that time. However, under the influence of a friend, I opted to use that money for an international trip, resulting in a lack of additional funds for investment. If bought the btc and postponed the trip to a later date, I could have experienced much better days ahead and could fulfilled more dreams.
Another instance occurred last year when Bitcoin reached approximately 80k. I sold nearly 30% of my portfolio as it was fluctuating around that level with some downward movement as well. I was considering potential resistance if it were to hit 100k soon, and to my surprise, it not only reached that mark but has also remained quite stable above 100k now.
My Takeaway - Failing to invest at the right moment or assuming that opportunities will always be available can lead to significant costs. Years later, one may realize the true value of what was missed due to inadequate planning or haste selling.
