How to enjoy life?

First, don't expect to get happiness without a bit of sadness, or highs without lows, and when you realize it, you can enjoy life more.

Give up unrealistic expectations to discover the true definition of love, fulfillment and perfection. Understand that you can't expect only positives in all your relationships all the time. Comparing our reality to the romantic ideal in which they "lived happily ever after" is at the root of all our misfortunes!

A few tips:
  • Drop yourself to your infallibility
It is very possible that you have qualities yourself or that you are doing things that disturb you in others. Someone may be tight on money, but you, in turn, may be tight on time management. The world is your mirror - think about what image it reflects, and you will gain valuable insights that will knock your self-righteousness off its pedestal.

  • Express your requests
This one simple action can change your life. Ask for what you want - whether it's recognition, affection, promotion, raise, rescue, help or a break! Stop expecting people to guess your needs or read your mind. Help others help you so that you don't hold a grudge against them when they don't.

  • Focus on the present
Instead of worrying about what might happen in the future. The only thing we know for sure is what is happening to us now

  • Specify one activity

One that you can take even today to feel you are in more control of your life. It could be something small - washing the car, tidying up papers, throwing away old clothes - anything that is quick, easy, and feels like doing and getting results. If we feel in control, we also feel healthier, stronger and less stressed.

  • Feel grateful

Every day, look around and find something you are thankful for - sunny weather, fresh flowers on your desk, birds singing, the coffee you've just drunk ... Gratitude makes us happier because it encourages us to appreciate it what we have in life.

  • Be aware

When you are in the shower, be aware of the sensation of water running down your skin. Notice when you start thinking about the ten o'clock meeting or what to give the children for dinner and think back to your body sensations. When you eat, just eat - our minds can be so busy that we fail to notice the tastes, textures, and sensations of eating. Practice slow eating and enjoy the taste

  • Let go of guilt

As strange as it may seem, ask yourself if you aren't your own worst enemy because you don't believe you deserve happiness and a successful life. Let go of the guilt of being happy, and use your happiness eagerly.

  • Take a small step

If you want to do something or become something, why not take one small step in that direction? It will give you a sense of accomplishment and joy, and may fuel a further desire to take the next step. If you want to start your own business, think about what you can do to get your first customer without drawing up a business plan or printing business cards?

  • Be nice to someone

Scientists have found that the nicer you are to the world, the nicer the world is to you. So try to make someone happy.
