In 2021, he left everything behind and came to Colombia for good to start our story in the same place. But we didn’t make the decision lightly. Before taking the step, we talked about the pros and cons, analyzed the risks, and considered what it would mean for both of us. It wasn’t just an illusion; it was a life-changing decision. But the most important thing was that we were a team, and together, we took the step with confidence and conviction.
Because love is not just about feeling attracted to someone; it is about accepting that person as they are, with their flaws and virtues. That’s when you truly know—when you can see that person with all their light and shadows and still choose to stay by their side.
He left his country, his family, his friends, and everything he knew, only with the certainty that our love was worth it. And every day, I deeply value and appreciate the enormous sacrifice he made for us, for trusting in what we felt, and for betting everything on our happiness.
Today, after four years of living together and one year of marriage, we can say with certainty that true love knows no barriers. Many believe that long-distance love is just an impossible dream, but the truth is that the only barriers are the ones we create ourselves. With trust, communication, and commitment, anything is possible.
Now, we are a happy family, still building our journey together. And the best part is that we are now planning to have a baby of our own—an exciting new chapter in our lives.

Nunca imaginé que al entrar a una página de apuestas encontraría al amor de mi vida. Él, gerasrocha, un mexicano moderador, y yo, Deiris, una usuaria colombiana. Pero lo más importante es que éramos un equipo, y juntos decidimos dar el paso con confianza y convicción.
Porque el amor no es solo sentir atracción por alguien, es aceptar a esa persona tal y como es, con sus defectos y virtudes. Es en ese momento cuando realmente lo sabes: cuando puedes ver a esa persona con todas sus luces y sombras y aun así eliges quedarte a su lado.
Él dejó su país, su familia, sus amigos y todo lo que conocía, solo con la certeza de que nuestro amor valía la pena. Y cada día valoro y aprecio profundamente el enorme sacrificio que hizo por nosotros, por confiar en lo que sentíamos y por apostar todo por nuestra felicidad.
