Thank you for sharing this top list with us here. I discovered many new places to visit, especially since I forgot about Machu Picchu and Sistine Chapel. I definitely will plan to visit these places next summer. I would add to this list the Costa Rica bird tours. In Costa Rica, you can see many, many beautiful places. If you decide to visit Costa Rica, I suggest you stay at www.junglevistahotel.com. I'm new to this forum, and I must say, your post caught my attention right away. I must say, I'm particularly interested in visiting Rio de Janeiro during the Carnival and seeing the northern lights. But I was also wondering, which countries are the most dangerous to visit? It's always important to be aware of any potential risks while traveling. By the way, I didn't know that Opelousas has a sordid past. But I'll definitely look into it. And I completely agree with you that people from the Philippines are incredibly friendly and welcoming to foreigners. I've had some amazing experiences there.
