Twitter has changed its logo from the iconic blue bird to an "X".This change was announced by Twitter owner Elon Musk on Sunday, July 23, 2023. The change was made official on Monday, July 24, 2023.

It seems that inspiration behind Twitter's new "X" logo was to embody the imperfections in us all that make us unique. It can be inferred that the change was part of Musk's vision for an all-in-one app, eliminating bots, and promoting free speech. Additionally, it was revealed that the new logo was submitted by a fan to Elon Musk.
