Binance ATH! Coin CZ says this is just the beginning

While bitcoin and some altcoins like ETH, DOT, and LINK were on the tongues during the recent bull market, Binance Coin seemed rather left out. Although BNB has also increased in value since the beginning of October, it has gained "only" around 40% since the beginning of January.

These gains were nothing compared to doubling, tripling or even quadrupling the value of some assets. As a consequence, BNB started losing positions to DOT, LINK, ADA and XLM. In the end, the coin dropped out of the top ten in terms of market capitalization.

The first glimpse of a shifting trend came in mid-January as BNB approached its all-time high of $ 47. Even though the subsequent rejection saw a 20% drop, Binance Coin refused to stay put and initiated another impressive rise.

Shortly thereafter, BNB hit its previous record and has not looked back since then. In fact, it only compounded its gains, breaking above $ 50 and hitting $ 60 today.

Moreover, the coin returned to the top ten in the ranking, ahead of XLM and BCH.

The rising price of BNB can be attributed to the development of the entire Binance ecosystem and the deflationary token mechanism. The stock exchange burns the previously planned amount of coins until it gets rid of 100 million BNB once and for all.

Moreover, traders using the exchange may pay lower fees if they use BNB. They can also lock their tokens in Binance Launchpad and receive rewards for it.

CZ says keep calm

Changpeng Zhao (CZ), Binance CEO commented on the latest Twitter event. Despite the soaring prices, he called on people to look more and remain calm. According to the platform's CEO, this is "just the beginning".
