Good Evening everyone Hope you are all well. I am currently focused on my IT courses. Got some huge news recently. Praying that everyone’s funds are safe and secure.

PHP is a programming language used to build websites.
PHP abbreviation Hypertext Preprocessor
For example
When you open a website like Facebook or any login system — the part that checks your password, saves data to database, shows your profile — that's mostly done by PHP on the server.

What it does?
Backend language It runs on the server, not in your browser.
Makes websites dynamic Like login signup shopping cart payment
saves all data like users, products, orders
Very popular 75%+ of websites use it, including WordPress (which powers 40% of internet)

BBC Cyber Correspondent Joe Tidy:
Global Outages: Websites around the world specifically in the UK, the Netherlands, Finland, and Japan—have been taken offline following major warnings regarding a critical security vulnerability.
AI-Discovered Flaw: The severe cybersecurity flaw was discovered using AI in the PHP programming language. Because of its complexity, it is difficult for humans to figure out how to exploit it.
Attacker Risks: Security experts are concerned that malicious actors might also use AI to figure out how to leverage these PHP flaws, potentially leading to stolen data, defaced websites, or malware infections. Researchers have described it as the most serious flaw yet found with AI.
Patch Available: The PHP Foundation has made a fix available, allowing anyone affected to download the patch and prevent hackers from gaining access.

Cybersecurity Alert:
Main Warning!!!!!
Users are advised to avoid using crypto websites exchanges, and financial platforms for the next few days.
The Core Threat (PHP Vulnerabilities) Binance founder CZ and some other exper highlighted critical PHP vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619) affecting servers running popular applications like WordPress and Magento.
A "Cybersecurity Nightmare": Within roughly 48 hours, multiple major incidents occurred, including critical PHP flaws, a GitLab 10/10 severity flaw, India's eMudhra certificate key breach, AI-powered hacking across 1,200+ websites, malware hidden inside an AI software package, and 3,897 SBI customer records found on the dark web.
Why PHP is Vulnerable: Since PHP powers roughly 70% of websites, unpatched servers could potentially allow attackers to access, view, or manipulate user data without needing login credentials.
Recommended Actions:
Wait a few days and avoid financial or crypto platforms until they officially announce that their security patches have been successfully applied.
Governments across the US, UK, Europe, and elsewhere are issuing warnings and demanding immediate server updates.
Stay calm: Do not panic instead, exercise patience, stay aware of the situation, and share this information safely.
