At the end of the year, I tend to reflect and come to new resolutions that will allow me to build a more balanced, authentic, and connected 2025 with the wholeness that resides within us.
First resolution or thought: We were before, we are not now, we will not be later. Beyond time, let us laugh in peace.
Second resolution or thought: Everything we do, even dying, is a beginning.
Third resolution or thought: We harm others by forcing them to receive something they didn’t ask for.
Fourth resolution or thought: Let us not behave like parasites of the world, devouring the fruits of others without ever sowing.
Fifth resolution or thought: To succeed is to learn how to fail. Failing is merely changing paths.
Sixth resolution or thought: The only way to truly know a human being is through their limits.
Seventh resolution or thought: We are the product of countless couples who, for centuries, sought love.
Eighth resolution or thought: Lingering on our skin, like a flock of clouds, are the shadows of those who once caressed our bodies.
Ninth resolution or thought: Why, even when I say I don’t miss you, do I long so deeply for your shadow?
Tenth resolution or thought: Every time you look at me, I burn in the fire of your eyes, like a moth in the night.
Eleventh resolution or thought: I would only like to lose you, so I can find you again.
Twelfth resolution or thought: Let us not waste love on those who are not loyal, kindness on those who do not appreciate it, knowledge on those who do not understand it, or secrets on those who cannot keep them.
