There are moments in life in which one believes that everything is clear. You walk with your head up, convinced that you are in the right path, that no one can teach you anything new, that you know what you do. And you don't realize that this automatic pilot does not carry the heart, nor the reason ... the ego carries it.
I went through that. For a good weather, I thought I was stronger, wiser, more prepared than the others. I closed to listen, to learn, to accept that I didn't know everything. The ego told me: "You can alone," "You don't need help," "You're going well as you go." But life, that does not go with Rodeos, was very showing me that this path does not carry anywhere.
The ego does not build, it does not connect, it does not evolve. He just wants to be right, look good, feel superior. And the most dangerous of all is that he disguises you, when in reality it is makeup insecurity. It separates you from others, from yourself and even what you really want. Listen to others, yes, but also to your own inner voice, that which does not need applause or validations. That which simply wants to live, grow, share, be at peace. Just spin into circles, feeding on fears disguised as pride. On the other hand, when one chooses to walk humbly, with curiosity, with the feet on the ground and the open heart, there is a way. There is purpose.
And it is not about eliminating the ego, because we are human. But put it in place. Do not drive. Do not decide. That does not shout stronger than the truth.
Because in the end, what really matters does not need to demonstrate. You live.
