Test cricket prediction and discussion thread

Hello Guys!

With the Test Championship Final scheduled in Jun 2025, I am creating this thread to Discuss Test cricket. We can use this thread to predict the winner and discuss the odds. You are welcome to share what you are betting for. Currently, I consider this a test series season because there are a couple of series going on. For example, India is playing against Australia. Zimbabwe is playing against Afghanistan, and Pakistan is playing against South Africa. Let's discuss.

As predicted, India lost the 4th match against Australia, and the 5th Test had already started.

Finally, Rohit was dropped from the last test of the series. But the team once again proved that it is not Rohit alone who has been failing through the entire series; most of the players were doing badly. Virat Kohli played 69 balls, which is more than 11 overs, but scored 17 runs only. This should be enough to prove that he was patient with the bat. But it is the Aussie bowlers that did extremely well in batting.

So, instead of blaming some specific batter, we should blame the entire batting lineup or give credit to the Aussie bowlers who were unplayable throughout the entire series.

However, I don't understand what India choose to bat first after winning the toss.
