Hello dear friends, I hope you are doing well.
I really want to focus more on conversations and discussions with you from now on.
There is an issue where I really need your help and support.

Maybe some of you have had similar experiences like me. Less than two years ago, I joined Windice and got familiar with its interesting environment and promotions. It helped me a lot because dollars and cryptocurrencies are very expensive and valuable in my country. Every week I was satisfied with winning $10 or $20 and I wasn’t thinking of anything more. I kept my focus on other goals.

But as time passed, my expectations grew. After reaching $1000 profit, I told myself I should also play on other sites similar to Windice that host great challenges. And that’s what happened. I found two other sites (not sure if I can mention their names). At first, those sites were profitable for me and had daily challenges. Probably those sites were one of the reasons why I became less active on Windice.

Time went on… Many times I lost everything and had to start over in any way possible. Until last month, when I had reached around $4000 in profit. Maybe for some people this isn’t much, but for me and many people around me it has a lot of value, because dollars are worth a lot in my country. For example, someone my age here has to work 2–3 years to earn $4000.

But what did I do? Shockingly, I lost it all. I had promised myself that if I reached $1000, I would quit gambling and follow my dream of making animations. But I never let go of my greed. That greed both helped me reach $4000, and also made me lose everything and even fall into debt.

This whole journey has been full of ups and downs. Many times I had the chance to stop with smaller losses, but greed destroyed all my efforts. These ups and downs put me under mental and emotional pressure, and I changed completely compared to who I was before gambling.

Right now, the only thing I want is to find a solution to quit gambling, but I honestly have no idea how. Everyone, even ChatGPT, has already given me advice—like staying away from gambling platforms. I want that too, but as long as I depend on it to recover at least some money, I can’t stay away from gambling sites even for one day.

Those of you who are active on Windice—have you managed to control your greed? How? Do you have any solutions for quitting gambling?

Hey, first off, I'm really sorry to hear about your losses.

It is easy to say to quit gambling, but we know theres this itch that tell you to continue. And you have a long way to go. But thumbs up for noticing and recognizing that you are already gettting into it too much. Even having debts.

Unfortunately, the only way quitting gambling is to stay away from it. Focus on the thing that matter and build new other habbits. Slowly improve your physical and mental health and in time you'll be able to say you've overcome it.

Hoping for the best to you! We are here and we hear you :).

Thanks for what you said. That’s the most logical way, I agree. Either I have to help myself and stay away from gambling, or someone should just tie my hands with a rope 😂

Hehe, also changing of perspective helps, gambling is specifically designed to lure you and make more bets. Its designed to make you win at times without you noticing you've made more losses. ☺

You have already taken the first step towards quitting gambling by recognizing your mistake and expressing a desire to move forward. This indicates that you are on the right path. Greed is an emotion that you must learn to control. While you will receive various suggestions and advice from others, the onus to manage or quit ultimately lies with you.

I understand that it can be painful to see the money you once had slip away, especially knowing how significant it was in your life. This is why it is often advised to take your winnings and only gamble with what you can afford to lose.

The good news is that this is not the end; you are eager to change your situation. Pursue a passion that excites you, take a holiday, and explore new places. Consider creating a video documenting your journey from loss to quit; it could inspire many others around the world and keep you engaged in new experiences.

If you are a student, you know what your priorities should be. For working professionals, mastering new skills is essential in today’s world. Consequently, it is vital to enroll in courses that foster your development & learning too.
