A selfish people always thinks of themselves first, even at the cost of others. They rarely consider other people's feelings or needs. As a friend, they can be unreliable and unsupportive. In times of trouble, they may disappear or only help if it benefits them. Being close to someone selfish can feel emotionally draining. They often expect more than they give. Relationships with them become one-sided and frustrating. Trust and connection start to fade. In the end, selfishness destroys the bond between people
