Optical or standard scope in Counter Strike?

I perfectly understand that there is a huge difference between them both in appearance and in the damage to the enemy, but I have not yet been able to unfortunately decide. I specifically installed an all-cs https://all-cs.ru/ build with all possible weapons to get accustomed to each of them on the training map.
 
Even though I'm not a good AWP shooter, I'm very attracted to the tactic of tracking the enemy from a long distance, the only problem is that he runs too fast. On the other hand the normal scope is very effective at short ranges, but even it doesn't save me when I'm alone against three opponents. Which scope in Counter Strike do you prefer, standard or optical?
