NOVEMBER's EMBRACE
In November’s gentle, golden light,
A season shifts, a poignant sight.
The air is crisp, the earth subdued,
Yet hearts are warmed in gratitude.
All Saints’ Day, a reverent prayer,
For those we’ve lost, whose love we share.
Candles flicker, their glow serene,
A bridge to spirits, unseen but keen.
Día de los Muertos, colors bright,
A dance of memories in the night.
Marigold blooms, the altars laid,
For cherished souls, their paths replayed.
The World of Kindness, a special date,
A gentle nudge to banish hate.
A smile, a hand, a giving heart,
From simple acts, the world restarts.
The Veterans march, their courage told,
Stories of honor, brave and bold.
A nation's gratitude proudly bestowed,
For freedoms’ cost, their valor showed.
Thanksgiving Day, a feast is spread,
With pumpkin pies and cornbread.
Around the table, loved ones meet,
In shared delight, the harvest sweet.
The International Day of Tolerance calls,
For unity beyond our walls.
To weave a world where love persists,
Where every culture coexists.
Movember's cause, a rallying cry,
For men’s health needs we can’t deny.
Moustaches grown, awareness raised,
For lives preserved, their futures praised.
As autumn fades and winter nears,
November bids farewell with cheers.
