In a simple village, a long time ago, there lived an intelligent boy by the name of Leo. Leo's family faced severe economic hardship, and the burden of their situation often overcast his dreams. While most other kids were free to follow their own interests without a care in the world, day after quiet day Leo endured the dark tunnel of shame and determination as his family struggled to put food on the table. After school he would often look for odd jobs, using his young hands to do anything small for any little money.
By dint of the unyielding force of his spirit, Leo remained undiscouraged by their constant hounding. He wouldn't allow where he'd been to determine where he was going. He was able to find comfort and refuge in his education, which he believed would be a path out to a better life. He could be found night after late night, going through books and reading up, in want of learning more. His determination didn't go unnoticed by teachers, who would offer him additional help and moral support when they could.
Leo's journey was not easy. And there were wearying days, and there were Sternenzweifelmoments, when the trials became overwhelming. But whenever he wanted to give up, all of them came into his head with the dreams that he wished for up his family and the vision to see a better future. This was his inner strength that kept him going. He developed resourcefulness, became adept at problem-solving and was not one to shirk dirty work. His determination was so inspiring to others, who saw hope in what he accomplished. The Leo Chronicles are an example that if you have the grit and keep on keeping on, then nothing financial is impossible.
