Hello Windice community!

I want to share something which I experienced at Windice and atat other casinos as well. I think many of you experienced the same thing on Windice.
When I share my winnings on Windice chat, not even big wins but normal win bets, I immediatly start receiving private message on Windice and people start asking for Tips and loans. I think the standard would be to report them to the moderators so they get banned.

I was on other casinos and on other forums where I received PM's from these spammers as well. You could also receive private message from scammers who would offer you to invest on some websites which offer you money doubling scheme, MLM style investments, Trading etc etc.

The suggestion is, always avoid these spammers and scammers. Never visit any link you found sent via private message. Never sign up on any platform they suggest.

Yah I have seen other players complaining the same thing when they share their bet in English room or tip some friends. Others start sending private message and begs they say. What I experienced is that sometimes even if I am not sharing my bets in the chatroom only bet huge like going all in and my name gets included in the high roller's list, there will be someone sending friend request. I always ignore those requests. I never accepted any fr's anymore since 2022 after someone tried to befriend me and kept asking for more when I sent him a few once or twice.

The simple solution to that is to just not accept strangers in your friendlist. Users can only send private messages when you are friends with them

I think you and I are not the only people who face these kinds of people. I believe most gamblers receive private messages from the beggars. But they are not as dangerous as spammers. You are fine if beggars ask for money and you do not send them anything. But some people want to hack your devices and often send you links. Just a simple click is enough; they get control of your browser session. I think this is what is called session hijacking, and these people hack your most important online casino and exchange accounts. So never click any link peeople receive from the strangers.

Yep, the best practice is to ignore them. But sometimes, we click on the link they sent out out of curiosity. It is because of human nature. We always get curious about what people are sending. You may often receive private messages on social media that contain some kind of offer, or the sender may say, "Check this out. This file contains your nudes, etc.

People open these files out of curiosity, and then their accounts are compromised. I know people who were scammed this way. So stay away from these spammers.

Yes . At first i thought if i ignore the friend request it'll be disrespectful, but i was wrong. U should not accept someone's friend request that u don't know much about him/her . And if u did , do not answer and if u want to answer , say : i can't sorry . Do not explain about the reason too . I've even seen someone who wanted me to proof him that i was 0 X D .
